Residence in the UAE is the right to reside in the country during the validity of a resident visa. The validity of the visa is from 1 year to 10 years.

In the Emirates, there is no permanent or temporary residence permit for citizens of other states. To reside in the UAE for a long time, a foreigner needs to obtain a resident visa. When the residence period comes to an end, the visa can be extended if all the requirements are met on the part of the applicant.
